The purchase in 1985 of a 220 - hecta re property situated between Lancefield & Kilmore on the  Great Dividing Range in Central Victoria, Australia saw the beginnings of Mount William Winery.

Paddocks that once carried sheep and cattle then were cultivated and turned to growing acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

These were soon to be followed by Cabernet Franc, Semillion and most recently Merlot.

The sheep and Angus cattle have not disappeared and still play an important role in the general farming program with the sheep doubling as organic weed controllers in the vineyard over winter.

Visitors to the winery may enjoy a relaxing and personalised time here, the sales and tasting room built from stone off the property provides a cosy atmosphere and five acres of picturesque gardens and are best enjoyed walking with a glass of wine in hand.

Hi there on Sat 17th December my family (8 adults, 3 children) are very interested in tasting your wines (particularly your sparkling wines) and are also wanting to know if you have a bbq in your grounds that could be used for lunch. Apologies if I am being presumptious requesting using your bbq facilities as I noticed that your website doesn't state this.

Kindest Regards,

Tony Hogan
