The 12th - 14th September saw
us at the Fine Wines and Spirits Show at Darling Harbour, Sydney for a
3 day, trade only,
exhibition.
As we are now represented in Sydney by Davey & Hunter, this was an
excellent opportunity to meet with our Sydney buyers and answer a field
of questions on our product.
Locally, the Winemakers of Lancefield held an evening in September in
conjunction with Slow Food as part of the Victorian Wine & Food Festival.
Reknowned identity and wine educator Roy Moorfield led us in an evening
of Cantonese cuisine and Pinot Noir. Eighty odd guests enjoyed pre dinner
Granite Hills Riesling and Mt.William Chardonnay followed by a four course
dinner each matched with 2 local Pinot Noirs. Guests were invited to vote
for their favourite matching combination of wine and food. The evening
finished with an array of Macedon sparklings. |
